Manchester HOME’s Christmas 2015 production is Inkheart, based on Cornelia Funke’s best-selling fantasy novel for children.
The UK première is adapted for the stage by Stephen Sharkey and Walter Meierjohann, directed by Meierjohann.
Cornelia Funke will be the special guest at HOME’s Family Day on December 13.
The show runs from December 4 to January 9.
Katherine Carlton, who graduated from LAMDA in 2013, takes the central part of Meggie, a 12-year-old hero drawn into a world of mystery, magic, and adventure when the characters in her favourite books come alive.
