Andy Smith and Lynsey O’Sullivan's latest play, A Citizens' Assembly, the latest of their "plays for the people", in which "the people in the room play the people in the play," will run for one night at The Lowry in 18 January.

What are we doing about the climate emergency? What are we not doing? What more could we be doing? What more should we be doing?

Smith is a theatre-maker based in Lancaster and a Lecturer in Theatre Practice at The University of Manchester who has collaborated with theatre maker Tim Crouch since 2004, co-directing with Karl James plays including An Oak Tree, The Author and Truth's A Dog Must To Kennel.
