Stage and screen actress Julie Hesmondhalgh is to bring her intimate, autobiographical show to support the Octagon in Bolton and Live Theatre in Newcastle.
Julie starred as Hayley Cropper in ITV’s Coronation Street for 16 years, as well as Happy Valley (BBC), Broadchurch (ITV), Doctor Who (BBC) and, most recently, ITV’s Mr Bates vs The Post Office.
These I Love is described as, "a hymn to Julie’s own working-class childhood in Accrington, to her wonderful dad and to the healing power of daftness."
She presented a Q&A at Live Theatre in 2023, which she said received, "a warm and kind reception." She is 'donating' her show to both venues to support these registered charities.
These I Love will be presented for four performances at the Octagon 12–16 February then three performances at Live Theatre 1–2 March.
