Disney’s The Lion King ended a record-breaking season at Sunderland Empire May 6 having performed to more than 100,000 audience members during the production’s second visit to the city.

The show broke box office records for the highest single day of ticket beating its own record by the first tour of The Lion King.

Disney’s Aladdin runs at Sunderland Empire February 15–March 10.
