Despite only being a 460-seater venue, Lancaster’s Grand Theatre demonstrates some pulling power with its 2013 season of drama, children’s productions, comedians—some already sold out—old favourites, opera, ballet and TV names.

Following their sell-out run of The Gruffalo, Tall Stories return to the theatre with The Gruffalo’s Child, March 18-19.

The zany Lip Service is also back with their new show Inspector Norse, “a Swedish self-assembly crime thriller.”

Vienna Festival Ballet returns with Sleeping Beauty March 28.

Lancaster Footlights presents The History Boys by Alan Bennett April 23-27.

After their last sell-out show, Pasha and Katya from Strictly Come Dancing return with another new show May 12.

Blackeyed Theatre Company returns with its brand new production Teechers by John Godber May 14.

Hormonal Housewives stars Toyah Wilcox amongst others on May 21.

Lancaster Grand also already boasts an impressive roster of attractions for the months to the end of the year. For more details, see www.lancastergrand.co.uk.
