Iain Lauchlan and Andy Hockley, winners of the Best Sisters award for their roles as Dame Flatula and Ugly Sister Aroma in Cinderella at the Belgrade Theatre in 2023, are to reunite at the Coventry venue for Dick Whittington.
Lauchlan, who will write and direct the 2024 panto, will play Sarah the Cook, while Hockley will be King Rat.
Craig Hollingsworth will appear in his 13th Belgrade panto as Idle Jack. Aonghas Ewen will take the role of Scratch, Declan Wilson will play Alderman Fitzwarren and the Sultan of Morocco, Lois Brook will make her pantomime debut as Dick Whittington, Sam Woods will be Tommy the Cat and Gabriela Harris will play Alice Fitzwarren and Fairy Bowbells. The ensemble will comprise Beth Gourlay, Mia King-Harmes, Caleb Griggs and Reiss Hinds.
Dick Whittington will run from Wednesday 20 November until Saturday 4 January 2025, with press night on Friday 22 November.
The Belgrade will also stage Raymond Briggs’s Father Christmas, directed by Emma Earle, in its B2 auditorium from Thursday 5 until Sunday 29 December.
