Guys and Dolls, this year's Stage Experience presentation at the Regent Theatre, Stoke

Stoke’s Regent Theatre is offering budding actors, singers and dancers the chance to experience what it is like to be part of a professionally run production.

Stage Experience is a two-week intensive project which involves a cast and crew having only two weeks to put a show together.

This year there will be four performances of Guys and Dolls on the Regent stage.

Stage Experience project manager Laura Stacey said, “I’m proud to be involved in an exciting project at the Regent Theatre which enables young people to show off their creative talents.

“The creative learning team wants to see as much talent in the audition room as possible. For young people it’s an exciting opportunity which shouldn’t be missed.”

Auditions will take place at the city’s Victoria Hall. Applicants aged 16 to 25 should attend on Saturday 18 May while those aged 11 to 15 should turn up on Sunday 19 May. The project will be held from Monday 29 July until Saturday 10 August.

Application forms are available from Laura Stacey on 01782 211214 or by e-mailing [email protected].
