Lee Mead will play the role of Billy Flynn in the tour of Chicago.
He joins previously announced Gemma Collins as Mama Morton, Faye Brookes as Roxie Hart, Djalenga Scott as Velma Kelly, Jamie Baughan as Amos Hart and B E Wong as Mary Sunshine, opening at Sunderland Empire May 31.
Following her previous run, Sinitta will reprise Mama Morton at the Grand Opera House, Belfast (June 6–11), Theatre Royal, Plymouth (June 14–18) and Venue Cymru, Llandudno (July 25–30).
Lee Mead was voted Joseph in BBC1’s Any Dream Will Do. Since then, he has gone on to star in the West End.
