Les Dennis, Connor McIntyre, Gareth Gates and Sooty head the cast of Cinderella, the 2019 panto at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham.

Dennis joined Coronation Street in 2014 as Michael Rodwell, a petty criminal who met his demise at the hands of Pat Phelan. Now Dennis and McIntyre who played Phelan are teaming up to play the Ugly Sisters.

Gates, who took the role of Marius in the 25th anniversary tour of Les Misérables, is Prince Charming, with Richard Cadell and Sooty playing Buttons.

Jonathan Saville, interim venue director at the Theatre Royal, said, “Cinderella is a beautiful and well-loved story and I think the sheer talent and comedy value this cast can bring will raise this year’s panto to another level.”

Cinderella will run from Saturday 30 November until Sunday 5 January 2020.
