Open Air Weekend

Chichester Festival Theatre will present a weekend of open air entertainment in Oaklands Park from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 June ahead of the summer musical, South Pacific.

Concerts in the Park will feature a celebrity compère and West End stars including Carly Bawden and Aki Mitchell with a live band performing numbers from musical theatre and beyond. It will be directed by Louise Shephard with Theo Jamieson as musical director.

Family Fun in the Park will feature actors using puppetry to bring stories, including Lauren Child's That Pesky Rat, to life. Families can also join in a fun 'Dance-Along' as part of Telling Tiger Tales. Suitable for ages 4+.

As with last summer's events, a raised stage will be erected next to the Festival Theatre on Oaklands Park. Arrangements will be in place for social distancing with all rules and guidelines at the time will be strictly adhered to.
