Libby Hall, winner of several best newcomer awards, has written her second play, at 17.
Salford Arts Theatre’s young performers company stages The Melting of a Single Snowflake in which a group of outcasts find friendship and common ground during the summer holidays.
A coming of age play that looks at the darker side of humanity.
Libby said, “being writer-in-residence at Salford Arts has given me this opportunity to put my ideas on stage and I’m really excited to see how audiences react to that. Being part of The Greater Manchester Fringe means that a wider range of audiences that probably wouldn’t come and see work written and performed by young people are now coming to see it.”
It’s on July 17–19 at Salford Arts Theatre.
Age guidance: 12yrs+.
