JB Shorts is back from October 3–14 at 53two in Manchester.
Another set of bitesize world premières by leading TV writers featuring JB Shorts' traditional mix of familiar faces and new talent.
JB 23 offers a treat for fans of Early Doors. Stars of the BBC sitcom James Quinn, Joan Kempson and Sue McCardle play lead roles in three of the six shorts. They are joined by an ensemble including David Tag (Sylver McQueen from Hollyoaks), Marie Critchley (Line of Duty, In The Flesh, Waterloo Road) and Hannah Ellis Ryan (scheming Aussie Hannah Gilmore from Coronation Street).
The Corrie theme continues with Weatherfield regulars Sally Carman (Abi Franklin) and Cherylee Houston (Izzy Armstrong) taking on the role of director for two of the new shorts.
Co-produced by Reallife, 53two and Pai Productions, JB23 promises cutting-edge comedy and drama.
