Nassim Suleimanpour’s White Rabbit, Red Rabbit is a very different kind of play, exploring the experience of his generation of young Iranians. Unable to leave Iran, he created the play which is performed without director or set by a different actor at each performance. In addition, the actor reads it cold—(s)he only receives the script just before going on stage.
