Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival, the only festival of its kind in the UK, returns this July after a record 10th year in 2011, bringing with it a newly appointed Executive Director Razanne Carmey.
She took up her post in March and has ambitious plans for Liverpool Arabic Arts Festival in 2012 and beyond. A full programme for the festival is to be revealed in the coming weeks, with some key events already announced including a world premiere at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall from the Alif Ensemble and the play Rest Upon the Wind at Unity Theatre from veteran actor and writer Nadim Sawalha.
