Young Everyman Playhouse is to introduce a new strand, YEP Producers, with a new platform called Scene Change. The bi-monthly event will showcase the best of Liverpool’s talent; from writers to artists, magicians to musicians, comedians to costume designers.

Scene Change is for young people aged 18-26 and is open to all creative disciplines. Matt Rutter, director of Young Everyman Playhouse, said: “Scene Change will forge links within the arts community, sharing skills, projects and initial ideas to encourage new work amongst young people.”

Meantime the venue’s Everyword writing festival returns to Hope Street from November 14-16.

Writers and audiences can watch performances in the secret spaces and hidden places of Liverpool’s Royal School for the Blind on the corner of Hope Street and Hardman Street, as Everyword explores new plays in new ways.
