Liverpool serves up a jam-packed December of performances, exhibitions, screenings and family activity.

Following its lockdown, the city’s arts organisations have reopened offering live entertainment. The Royal Court is providing The Royal Court Selection Box. The Everyman has been transformed into a cabaret space hosting two events. Everyman & Friends welcomes some of Liverpool’s local artists for poetry, burlesque and music, followed by The Everyman Christmas Cabaret. At the Playhouse, A Christmas Carol has now opened. It’s a socially distanced production performed by a cast of five.

Audiences can also enjoy festive activities at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall where the RLPO will perform several concerts including Stephanie Childress conducting Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.

Unity Theatre is offering audiences the chance to experience 2019’s festive show Beasty Baby for free online. At Bluecoat, there are free family activities on offer with Christmas activity bags available to collect. At the Museum of Liverpool, the Blackler’s department store’s 18-foot-tall Santa returns.
