Liverpool’s Royal Court is working with The Mersey Forest as part of Urban GreenUP to plant a range of trees, plants and shrubs in the city centre to ‘green up’ urban areas and attract more pollinating insects and wildlife.

Gillian Miller, chief executive, is delighted with the new green spaces: “we have recently planted a range of pollinator trees, shrubs and plants in the Courtyard Garden, outside the theatre and on the terrace of the theatre and we will be adding a bug hotel to the terrace later this year.”
