Liverpool’s Unity Theatre celebrates its 40th anniversary next year.

Its 2019/2020 season reflects the aims and ambitions at the heart of the venue.

It includes productions by world-class visiting companies, festivals, children’s events, workshops and talks.

Visiting artists include Graeae, Split Britches, Vamos, Tmesis and Scottee with new productions including Told by an Idiot & Theatre Royal Plymouth’s The Strange Tale of Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel and Sirens, Men and Crabs from the Teatro Pomodoro.

Unity also continues its commitment to supporting Liverpool talent with co-productions from Kitchen Sink Live, Turntable and 20 Stories High.

The theatre will also stage work from Liverpool’s Dadafest including Dadascratch and, for 2019, the Christmas show is Theatre-Rites’ Beasty Baby, a "feel-good fantasy" suitable for families with children aged 3+.
