Lizard Boy, a new indie rock musical from the US, makes its UK debut at Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester and Gilded Balloon’s Patter Hoose at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

During a childhood accident, Trevor was drenched head to toe in dragon’s blood. Growing green and scaly skin, he withdrew from the world. Twenty years later, Trevor's first date with a guy transforms into adventure of mythic proportions.

Equal parts comic book lore and coming-of-age love story, Lizard Boy has been called "Ingenious", "Phenomenal", "Ferocious & Funny".

Featuring the original American cast and starring author, composer and actor Justin Huertas, the show will make its UK première in Manchester July 14–27.

There will also be a new UK-based cast for alternate shows.

Lizard Boy will then travel up to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for a full run at the Big Yin, Gilded Balloon Patter Hoose August 5–28.
