ITV’s Benidorm actress, regular Loose Women panellist and Coronation Street legend Sherrie Hewson will star in the pivotal role of the Fairy Godmother in Sunderland Empire’s 2013 panto, Cinderella.
Cinderella will be played by Amy Thompson, a familiar face on Channel 5’s Milkshake, while unsung hero Buttons will be played by Jamie Rickers (CITV and Nickelodeon).
Prince Charming will be played by Owen Thompson, Bobby Windebank will play Dandini and Jamie Morris and Tarot Joseph the dastardly Ugly Sisters.
UK Productions’ Martin Dodd, who was responsible for late year’s Peter Pan, produces the show which runs from 13 December 2013, to 5 January 2014.
