After sell-out performances in London, Regent’s Park Theatre’s production of William Golding’s Lord of the Flies will be at Liverpool Playhouse from February 2 to 6.

Nigel Williams’s adaptation is an updated version of the classic tale with references to modern popular culture dappled into Golding’s original text. Added to this are slow-motion and audio visual effects, fire fights and a haunting score.

The cast of young actors includes Luke Ward-Wilkinson who has appeared regularly on television and Freddie Watkins whose film credits include Nativity and Nativity 2. Both are making their stage debuts.
