Headlining the theatre season in spring 2016 at Coventry’s Warwick Arts Centre is the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production of Lord of the Flies.

Alan Rivett, arts centre director, said, “autumn was a great season for us and we’re thrilled to be presenting such an exciting programme for the new year, including the must-see production of Lord of the Flies. There’s something for everyone this season.”

Nigel Williams’s adaptation of William Golding’s 20th century classic visits Warwick Arts Centre from 23 until 27 February.

Before that, Sarah Woods presents a vision of the future in The Roadless Trip in the Studio on 3 February.

Forced Entertainment takes its World War II play The Notebook, telling the story of twin brothers evacuated to their impoverished grandmother’s farm, to Coventry on 8 and 9 March.

Dance fans will be catered for when Motionhouse returns with Broken, the spectacle that premiered at Warwick Arts Centre in 2013; and the world première of Protein’s piece of dance and music theatre May Contain Food creates “an immersive experience of indulgence, nostalgia and mischief” in the Studio on 9 and 10 March.

The full line-up is available at the Warwick Arts Centre web site.
