Waterside Arts Centre hosts the brand-new comedy written and directed by John Godber, Losing The Plot, on April 23-24.
The two-hander, starring Steve Huison of The Full Monty and Coronation Street fame and Waterloo Road actress Susan Cookson, made its world première in January at Theatre Royal Wakefield.
One day Jack loses the plot, walking out on his job and his family to “find himself”—going travelling around Europe and attempting to pursue the life of a writer—only to return three months later with no money, no novel and no idea why he left in the first place. It’s a classic midlife crisis story, with laughs.
