Lost Boys needed for Buxton Christmas show

Peter PanBuxton Opera House will soon be recruiting young talent for this year’s Christmas production Peter Pan.

The Derbyshire theatre will be looking for 14 boys aged between eight and 15 and under 5’ 7” to play Wendy’s brothers Michael and John as well as the Lost Boys.

The venue is also looking for 16 young boy or girl dancers over

4’ 8” to play a variety of roles including red indians, mermaids and pirates.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, 30 June at Buxton Opera House. Lost Boys aged eight to 11 will audition at 10am; Lost Boys aged 12 to 15 at 11am; eight- to ten-year-old dancers at 12 noon; dancers aged 11 to 13 at 1pm; and 14- to 15-year-old dancers at 2pm.

Rehearsals will begin with a weekend in October then run from 19 November until 11 December. Peter Pan will run from 12 December until 1 January.
