Lost Boys opens Unity autumn season

Opening Unity Theatre’s 2019 autumn season in Liverpool is Lost Boys September 4–11 from National Youth Theatre, "a timely take on life in northern towns" from Formby playwright Luke Barnes.

Witty comment on disability comes with Still No Idea from Bunny September 13–14. A Long Way Home on September 26 is made by Ben Phillips in collaboration with John Wright, a founder member of Told By An Idiot and Trestle.

September 28 sees puppetry and a history of women’s suffrage with Horse and Bamboo’s Suffrajitsu, based on the real life story of women who used jiu jitsu to protect themselves from arrest and police brutality.

October 4–6 sees Unity welcome LEAP Dance Festival from Merseyside Dance Initiative, with Cupid’s Revenge from New Art Club and Black Holes from Alexandrina Hemsley and Seke Chimutengwende.

Box of Tricks Theatre are back October 9–12 with Under Three Moons, a generation-spanning play about how men relate to each other today.
