Nottingham Playhouse is to hold a Lost Shakespeare Day which will include what's believed to be the first public reading of Double Falsehood since its publication in the Arden Shakespeare series.

The day next Monday (October 11th) includes a free panel discussion at 4pm with guests including the Arden editor, Professor Brean Hammond of the University of Nottingham. He's affirmed the long-disputed identification of Double Falsehood with the lost play Cardenio which Shakespeare is known to have co-authored with John Fletcher.

A rehearsed reading follows at 7pm, with tickets costing £2. Tickets for both events must be booked via the box office on 0115 941 9419.
