Lunch with Hairspray actor David Witts, signed photographs and exclusive hospitality packages are up for grabs on eBay to raise funds for Curve, Leicester.

The theatre has started an online auction to raise support for its creative work within the local community.

All proceeds will go towards Curve’s participation and learning programme Experience Curve which looks after activities including the theatre’s community productions, its over 55s programme, the Curve Young Company and Little Movers classes.

Bidders can choose from a selection of lots including lunch for four with former EastEnders actor David Witts, who will be appearing in Hairspray at Curve from 28 February, and a golden ticket which features a personalized backstage tour and VIP invitations to special events.

Hannah Hallam, Curve’s head of business development, commented, “Our fundraising auction is a special opportunity for theatre lovers to bid for their own memento from Curve’s first five years while at the same time helping to support the work we do within the local community.”

The auction runs until Saturday (18 January) and is available at the eBay web site.
