From ballroom to contemporary, returning favourites to new works, dance lovers have a full autumn season of dance to look forward to at The Lowry, Salford.

The Album by SAY, October 4, sees music gigs and dance collide.

Samsara, October 9, comes straight from Edinburgh International Festival, presenting one of China’s superstar dancers Hu Shenyuan.

October 14 Joseph Toonga returns. Born To Exist follows Joseph’s previous explorations into fatherhood and the black male.

October 18–19, Shobana Jeyasingh Dance presents Clorinda Agonistes, a union of opera, dance and film.

Rendez Vous Dance—What Songs May Do, November 11, is a full-evening production by Mathieu Geffré.

Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty returns November 22–26.
