The Lowry in Salford is celebrating after all three of its runners in the Virgin London Marathon successfully completed the 26.2 mile run raising £8,000 for The Lowry Centre Trust, the charitable arm of the Salford Quays-based arts organisation.
Stephen Crocker, development director, Jordan Ahmadzadeh, digital communications executive and regular Lowry theatregoer Kieran Linford joined more than 35,000 fellow fun-runners, athletes and fundraisers in the 33rd annual London event.
Team Lowry were tasked with raising £1,500 each for arts activities for young people ranging from free tickets for shows to sponsored work placements to free creative activities for young people and their families.
