Three Degrees singer Sheila Ferguson will star as Mama Morton in Chicago.
She joins Faye Brookes as Roxie Hart, Djalenga Scott as Velma Kelly, Jamie Baughan as Amos Hart and B E Wong as Mary Sunshine. The cast will appear at Manchester Opera House from May 23–28.
Sheila was lead singer of the chart-topping group whose hits include "When Will I See You Again?", "Take Good Care of Yourself" and "A Woman In Love".
Theatre credits include musicals Thoroughly Modern Millie, Soul Train, Oh! What A Night and Respect La Diva and pantomime seasons throughout the UK.
TV personality Gemma Collins will star as Mama in at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens June 28–July 2.
