Europe’s radical theatre makers gather for a weekend micro-festival at Z-arts Manchester June 13-14.

They will be bringing their latest performance pieces to Manchester, for The Flare Weekender, presented in conjunction with Word of Warning.

Joining the Festival this year will be artists from Norway, Amsterdam, Utrecht and Barcelona, as well as UK artists from Manchester, Bristol and London.

Neil Mackenzie, artistic director of Flare said: “We’ve carefully selected some of the most interesting and unusual theatre experiences being made by new theatre makers.

"This is intelligent and distinctive work by artists we really think will help to define the future of theatre as an art form.”
