One Hand Clapping

House of Orphans and the International Anthony Burgess Foundation present a new stage adaptation of One Hand Clapping at the IABF in Manchester from March 14-16.

Burgess's disgust at Western decadence and degradation, One Hand Clapping casts a jaded eye over our values, drawing a conclusion that still resonates 50 years on.

With a northern cast, this acerbic and comic three-hander explores the darker side of consumerism and the effects of the quest for convenience culture.
