Married couple Linda Lusardi and Sam Kane will lead the cast of Sleeping Beauty at Northampton’s Royal and Derngate this Christmas.
The couple, who will be performing together in their 16th Christmas season, last appeared in Northampton four years ago in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Linda Lusardi will play the wicked fairy Carabosse while Kane directs as well as playing the henchman.
Sleeping Beauty will have 3D special effects which will include a walkthrough of the enchanted castle.
Michael Harrison, managing director of Qdos Entertainment’s pantomime division and executive producer of Sleeping Beauty, said, “It will be without doubt one of the most impressive pantomimes ever staged in Northampton.”
Sleeping Beauty will run in Northampton 6 December until 5 January.
