Ribble Valley International Piano Week herald the return of the popular event with Martin Roscoe’s Live Launch concert at Westholme School, Blackburn on May 18.
The programme includes pieces by Brahms, Beethoven and Liszt.
Roscoe recorded all of Beethoven’s Sonatas between 2010 and 2018, and revisits two of those planned for performances in 2020, the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth.
In the interval, he will share news of the world-class musicians he has invited to Blackburn during the summer festival from July 13–16.
