Matt Smith to be patron of Royal Court Young Writer's Festival

Isabelle Kennedy-Grimes, Eve Kerslake-Blue, Matt Smith CREDIT HELEN MURRAYIt has been announced that the Royal Court Young Writers' Festival, which we reported on last week on BTG, has appointed actor Matt Smith as its next Patron.

Smith began his acting career at the Royal Court in Fresh Kills by Elyzabeth Gregory Wilder in 2004 and went on to appear on the West End and at the National Theatre before being given his most famous part as the current Doctor Who on BBC Television in 2009.
