Desperate Measures at 3 Minute Theatre

For its debut production, the Manchester Shakespeare Company is to present a full-length adaptation of Measure For Measure.

Formed by the company behind the city’s successful 3 Minute Theatre Venue, TMSC is dedicated to producing relevant adaptations of Shakespeare in the cultural landscape of the region.

Desperate Measures is set in Mancia in the not too distant future. The streets are dark and lawless, the jails are full and the police force reduced to one lonely constable.

Irreverently adapted by John Topliff and Hannah Ellis and directed by Gina T Frost, it runs from October 23-26.
