The brand new stage production of Helen Forrester’s By The Waters Of Liverpool embarks on a 17-venue tour across the UK on March 3 at the New Brighton Floral Pavilion in Wirral—just a few miles from where Forrester was born.

In celebration of what would have been the author’s 100th birthday, a Blue Plaque will be unveiled in February at her family home in Hoylake—a place which featured heavily in Forrester’s four volumes of best-selling autobiography.

The 11-week national tour follows a run at Liverpool Empire in October 2018.

After New Brighton, the show will visit Stockport, Warrington, St Helens, Lancaster, Crewe, Southport, Rhyl, Swansea, Darlington, Malvern, Eastbourne, Isle Of Man, Hayes, Winchester, Liverpool and Blackpool.

It’s a period drama produced by the team behind Twopence To Cross The Mersey.
