The UK's only international physical theatre festival returns to Liverpool from June 25 to July 2 for courtesy of the city's own Tmesis Theatre.
Highlights include award-winning clown, Lucy Hopkins with her Ceremony of Golden Truth, along with circus / dance artists Joli Vyann who perform a free outdoor piece.
The recently-restored Albert Walker Hall—a hidden gem at the Linacre Methodist Mission in Bootle—is set to take centre stage as the venue for a site-specific, immersive piece created by Tmesis, Memoria.
Other venues include the Unity Theatre, Toxteth TV and outside the Metropolitan Cathedral.
The female-led, award-winning Tmesis continues its support of northern female artists by offering bursaries and mentoring to create new work for the festival.
