MIF highlight for Berlin festival

Manchester International Festival’s Returning to Reims has been invited to the Berliner Theatertreffen 2018, the festival showcasing the past year’s best German-language theatre.

From its world première at MIF, Thomas Ostermeier’s production has made an impact on audiences and critics as a reflection on the new world order.

Commissioned by the Schaubühne Berlin and MIF and produced by the along with HOME Manchester and Théâtre de la Ville, Returning to Reims is one of just ten selected plays considered by the jury to be the most noteworthy productions of 2017.
