Organisers of Derby Festé have announced additional acts who will perform before thousands of people at “Derby’s ultimate street festival”.
The main attraction on Friday 27 September has already been revealed: Wired Aerial Theatre will present As The World Tipped on Bass Recreation Ground at 8PM.
On Saturday the streets of Derby will come alive from 12PM with entertainment including C12 presenting Trolleys, a new ballet performed with five supermarket trolleys; circus skills act Upswing; Dutch group Close Act, a company of stilt walkers, dancers, musicians, fire throwers and acrobats; dance theatre outfit Company Chameleon; and Whalley Range All Stars Imaginary Friends, ten life-sized puppets who will lead audiences on a singing, theatrical journey.
Tickets for As the World Tipped cost £5 each and are available at www.derbylive.co.uk or www.derbytheatre.co.uk. All other performances are free.
