More Darlington panto casting

Cinderella

Darlington Hippodrome has announced more casting for its 2021 panto, Cinderella.

Joining the already announced Faye Tozer who will play the Fairy Godmother will be Patrick Monahan, Pete Peverley and Phil Corbitt.

In 2011 Monahan won the ITV stand-up comedy contest Show Me the Funny, which led to the release of his debut DVD Patrick Monahan Live, and appearances on Let’s Dance for Comic Relief and the ITV celebrity diving show Splash! In theatre he wrote and appeared in The Double Life of Malcom Drinkwater at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe.

He grew up in Middlesbrough where he is active in charity work as a patron of Zoe's Place Baby Hospice.

Pete Peverley’s panto experience includes Cinderella, Peter Pan and Goldilocks and the Three Bears at the Theatre Royal Newcastle and Jack and the Beanstalk at Leeds City Varieties. He has also appeared with the RSC, at the New Wolsey in Ipswich, at Northern Stage, at the Gala in Durham and with The November Club.

TV and film actor Phil Corbitt is no stranger to the Hippodrome Stage, having appeared there in Cinderella, Aladdin and The Chuckles of Oz, as well as other panto appearances in Aladdin at the Milton Keynes Theatre, Robin Hood at Newcastle Theatre Royal, Dick Whittington at the Opera House, Manchester, and Jack and the Beanstalk at Liverpool Everyman. He has also appeared on a number of occasions at Newcastle’s Live Theatre and in the touring production of Calendar Girls.
