Queen and Ben Elton’s hit musical We Will Rock You is set to rock the Opera House in Blackpool from January 6–11.
Rapid ticket sales have made it one of the best- and fastest-selling shows so far. Following the sell-out of both Saturday performances and only a limited number of tickets remaining Friday, the balcony has been released for midweek performances to cope with demand.
Since 2002, more than 15 million theatregoers in 17 countries have witnessed We Will Rock You showcasing a number of Queen’s hits, including "We Are The Champions", "Radio Ga Ga", "I Want To Break Free", "Somebody To Love", "Killer Queen", "Under Pressure", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Another One Bites The Dust" and the title song. Before closing at London’s Dominion Theatre, the show was performed 4600 times.
