Much Ado cast

Sheffield Theatres has announced the full cast for its production of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, co-produced with Ramps on the Moon, that will open at the Crucible this September before a UK tour.

Ramps on the Moon is a consortium of theatres which aim to enrich stories told by putting deaf and disabled artists and audiences at the centre of their work.

Besotted young couple Claudio and Hero have fallen fast and are quickly engaged. Not everyone finds romance so straightforward—Benedick balks at the very thought of it and Beatrice agrees with him, on that if nothing else.

Opening in Sheffield from September 9–24, the production will tour to Leeds Playhouse (September 27–October 1), Birmingham Rep (October 4–8), Nottingham Playhouse (October 11–15), New Wolsey Theatre Ipswich (October 18–22), Theatre Royal Stratford East (November 1–5), and Salisbury Playhouse (November 8–12).
