Nordoff and Robbins, the music therapy charity, is partnering with Manchester-based arts venue Contact, to provide support for music programmes aimed at young people with disabilities.

For the first time, a trained music therapist from Nordoff and Robbins will be placed in residence, to support Contact’s music team in delivering music programmes to young people who identify as disabled.

One of the charity’s trained music therapists will join Contact after graduating from the Master of Music Therapy training programme.

The music programmes offered will include Studio School, supporting young people between 11 and 16 to re-engage with mainstream education through creative work.
