Musical Ordinary Days returns for limited run

Birmingham’s Old Joint Stock Theatre and West End Best Friend Productions have revealed the cast for Adam Gwon’s Ordinary Days The Musical which is returning to Birmingham for a limited run before transferring to Upstairs at the Gatehouse, London.

Warren will be played by Aidan Cutler who appeared in the Dolly Parton musical Here You Come Again, staged by Leeds Playhouse and Simon Friend Entertainment in 2024, and took the role of Biff in the original West End cast of Back to the Future in 2021.

Dora Gee, who will play Deb, will return to the Old Joint Stock Theatre after playing Samantha Brown in the UK première of The Mad Ones by Kait Kerrigan and Bree Lowdermilk in 2024. Melisa Camba will be Claire and James Edge will take the role of Jason.

Ordinary Days follows the lives of four young New Yorkers as they navigate love, ambition and self-discovery. The musical highlights how small moments can create profound connections, “resonating with audiences through its humour and poignancy”.

Director is Karl Steele, associate director is Emily Susanne Lloyd, musical director is Nick Allen and the set is by J M Design.

Ordinary Days the Musical will run at the Old Joint Stock Theatre from Wednesday 9 until Sunday 20 April before transferring to Upstairs at the Gatehouse from Tuesday 22 until Sunday 27 April.
