“Tension and anticipation”: AAAAA (FiveA)

London-based fringe theatre company Proforca is to return to the Albany Theatre Studio, Coventry after lockdown with AAAAA (FiveA), a new piece which will be performed for one night only.

No other details about the production are being released before the performance. The idea is to “re-capture the mystery, tension, and anticipation of the return of live fringe theatre”.

Proforca is inviting audiences to see a “brave piece of dynamic, emotionally charged fringe-theatre storytelling from some of London's most exciting new fringe theatre writers with links to the city of Coventry.”

Proforca visited the Albany in September 2019 with At Last, written by Ames Lewis and Alexander Knott, and in spring 2018 with Feel by James Lewis.

AAAAA (FiveA) is written by David Brady, Jack Albert Cook, Gabrielle Nellis-Pain and Kim Scopes. It will be directed by Brady and Jess Barton. It will be performed at the Albany on Friday 29 January 2021.
