The Watermill Theatre in Newbury has announced that Reading Rep, Reading's resident professional producing theatre, has been appointed an Associate Company.
Reading Rep will present its first co-production, a stage adaptation of the international bestseller A Little History of the World by E H Gombrich, at the Watermill Theatre in 2015.
Reading Rep combines productions with education and community engagement. In the last 18 months, Reading Rep has produced eight productions, working with leading companies.
For Reading Rep, this opportunity is a significant milestone in its journey to becoming recognised as a major force in the south east.
