The critically-acclaimed outdoor production of C-o-n-t-a-c-t will now run for six weeks from May 18 to June 29, as opposed to previously announced dates last year.

The immersive, two-hander outdoor performance features a 3D sound design and will run in partnership with The Lowry in two locations, Salford Quays and central Manchester, following a successful run in London last autumn. The production is also planned to open in Brussels, Rome, and Sweden along with Ottawa, Vancouver and Brampton in Canada.

It’s a timely story of a moving and unexpected encounter that explores the themes of mental health and anxiety through the eyes of Sarah as she is approached by someone she believes to be a stranger. She discovers he can hear her thoughts, but how?

The show runs for 50 minutes without interval and audiences download the audio from an app synchronizing spectators and actors.

Audiences of no more than 17 per show purchase tickets online and then receive a link and location details.

It adheres to strict social distancing between audience members and involves no direct speaking of any actor in the play.
