Keneish Dance brings a triple bill of African and contemporary dance in Vigour choreographed by Keisha Grant in collaboration with sculptural artist Heidi Luker on 13 October, then on 25 October Shobana Jeyasingh's Classic Cut features two pieces: Configurations, which was created in 1988 with composer Michael Nyman, and Dev Kahan Hai? to music by composer Niraj Chag.

From 29 October to 2 November, Northern Ballet will perform its first ballet created especially for children with The Ugly Duckling, and then on 10 November Cassa Pancho’s Ballet Black will round off the season with a celebration of black and Asian dancers from around the world in a mixed programme from choreographers including Jonathon Goddard, Jonathan Watkins anc Christopher Hampson.
