Dance and performance artists Jonathan Burrows and Matteo Fargion bring a new double-bill of work to Live at LICA's Nuffield Theatre in Lancaster on January 28.

Audiences were delighted by their previous visit to Lancaster with Cheap Lecture and Cow Piece and should be similarly entranced by Counting to One Hundred and One Flute Note.

Over the past 10 years, the two have built a body of work that mixes the formality of music composition with a radical approach to performance. Counting To One Hundred and One Flute Note continue their explorations of the structure of John Cage's Lecture On Nothing.

Jonathan Burrows is one of the UK’s leading choreographers, starting his career as a soloist with The Royal Ballet in London but forming the Jonathan Burrows Group in 1988 to present his own work and perform it around the world.
